Century
Arts Alliance Foundation (CAAF) is a non-profit organization
founded by a Bay Area well known Certified Public Accountant, Mr.
Jimmy Chen and his wife, Madam Susan Chen and some public welfare
enthusiasm. The non-profit organization had obtained an exempt status
under revenue code section 501 (c) (3) with the Tax ID #20-1648825.
In order for the foundation to have a permanent facility available
for all the activities, they have bought a business building in
San Jose. Madam Susan Chen has willingly become a full time volunteer
to plan and conduct all the activities for the Foundation.
Mission:
We
hope that the fellows in the Bay Area will have an arts penetrated
daily life, and make their lives become more artistic. In other
words, this is to enrich the life, and to learn and gets themselves
involve in different arts related activities. Century Arts Alliance
Foundation was named the alliance foundation with the hope that
we can gather the various arts organizations in the Bay Area to
bring a better arts life to all the fellows.
Development
plan and class schedule: The Foundation will start some
of the arts classes and activities in January 2005. Based on the
idea that health and happiness are the main criteria for an artistic
life, we hope that these activities will help to improve the health
and happiness of family members. The classes to be conducted include
the Yoga class, folk dance class, line dance class, social dance
class, Hip-Hop class, Chinese guitar class, singing class, children
piano class, Chinese Kung Fu class, Chinese calligraphy and drawing
class, and handicraft class. Besides, there will be ping-pong club,
photography and mountaineering club, and golf club. Some other arts
related activities are still under planning and will be conducted
one after another.
The
foundation will also establish a children-singing team. The sign
up for team members is now open to the public. The age will be from
5 to 12. Please refer to membership

Foundation’s
Hope: We welcome all the fellows to join us to help each
other in pertaining
an artistic life. With the believe that one benefits more from giving
a helping hand, we hope that more and more people will join us as
the volunteers in the near future. We hope that through diversifying
the activities, we help the public to have healthier and happier
